Garry Jones was born in 1962 – “the quieter one of five.” As a child he was happy to play alone. He says nothing has changed in that respect as he considers writing to be a lonely occupation. Not that writing brings food to his table … “I wish!” he says. His outlook has always been, ''Something will turn up'', and for the most part, it always has, and it has led him down a variety of occupational roads. Garry loves travel, always returning to his birthplace and other passion: Liverpool FC. The internet was the catalyst for him to discover his love for words. Frequently getting inspiration in the dead of night, Garry has earned himself a reputation for sorting these inspirations into what become his “poetic patterns”. |
